Birthday parties

Do you want to give your child an unforgettable party including interactive activities adapted to their interests? Think of the Huron-Wendat Museum! For a few hours, children will be transported to the world of the Huron-Wendat. They will have stars in their eyes! We offer a multitude of turnkey packages for children’s parties.

  • Guided tour with a guide (1h): It is accompanied by one of our passionate guides that the children discover the permanent exhibition “ Territories, memories, knowledge ”, and the national longhouse Ekionkiestha’. Whether through our collections that engulf you into the heart of Huron-Wendat culture or through the historical immersion offered by the Ekionkiestha’ national longhouse, it is certain that this visit will satisfy the curiosity of children!
  • Small steps on the Huron-Wendat trail (2h): During the guided tour of the permanent exhibition, children handle animated objects related to those in the window. This helps to understand the use of raw materials by the ancient Huron-Wendat in the manufacture of everyday objects. The children are then introduced to crafts and invited to make their own necklace or bracelet with wooden beads. The package also includes a visit to the National Longhouse.
  • In the footsteps of the turtle and the bear (2h): The activity allows children to explore the museum and wonder about Iroquoian artifacts during an artifact hunt. The creative component of this activity includes making a miniature wigwam. The package also includes a visit to the National Longhouse.
  • A Night at the Museum (approximately 3+ hours): Armed with a flashlight, the activity lets kids explore the museum and wonder about Iroquoian artifacts on an Artifact Hunt in the Dark! The package also includes a visit to the National Longhouse and the viewing of a film in the museum!
