Hatiyuwa : nenhs (The Great Men) : Nicolas Vincent Tsawenhohi (1769-1844)

Nicolas Vincent Tsawenhohi was one of the great diplomats of the Huron-Wendat Nation. He was also a hunter, trapper, and fisherman who intimately knew the Huron-Wendat territory: the Nionwentsïo. Appointed War Chief in 1803, then Grand Chief in 1811, he dedicated himself, alongside the great men of his Nation, to the good of his community and its territory.
