This activity is an opportunity to develop team-building skills while discovering the democratic universe as well as the egalitarian and ecological values of the Huron-Wendat Nation. Placed in a circle around a fire, participants are invited to use the talking stick to express themselves on the topics of circular thinking, their role in society and their impact on the environment. The activity ends with the making of a talking stick.

This package begins with a guided tour of the permanent exhibition “Territories, Memories, Knowledge” and then proceeds to the national longhouse Ekionkiestha’, a reconstitution of an ancestral dwelling which houses reproductions of artifacts.
