Hannah Claus – “Animations” – From February 16 to April 21, 2019 as part of Manif d’art 9 – The Quebec City Biennial
Hannah Claus makes the Yändia’wich (Turtle) room come to life with three video works (“all this was once covered in water”, “everlasting”, “interlacings”) and a suspended work (“birds”) that generate interrelational dialogues between earth and its plants; water and its reflections; the sky and its stars.
The exhibition is part of the program Si petits entre les étoiles, si grands contre le ciel*, a series of interrelated exhibitions curated by international curator Jonathan Watkins.
